Guide-Assisted whitewater rafting trips with USA Raft Nantahala
This is the most popular option and the best value. Our guides are always on the river with you, but not in every raft. Each raft needs a "captain" who sits in the back and steers. Others in the raft paddle. Many groups and families choose this rafting option. Everyone has a great time. Our guides are always nearby to assist you with fun and safety.
We provide you with qualtiy equipment. We give you a safety briefing. We provide you shuttle to and from the river. And, we are always on the river with you.
Dates: Late March thru October
Trip Times: 9:30AM & 1:45PM in the summer. Trip times vary in the spring and fall season.
Cost: Saturday $31.95/person Sunday - Friday $29.95/person

This Nantahala River whitewater rafting trip option is popular with those who have rafted before, are more adventurous and don't have anyone apprehensive in their group. It's the least expensive way to raft the river.
We provide you with quality gear, transportation for you and your gear to and from the river, and a safety briefing.
You are your own on the river. Our guides are not on the river with you.

Time: In the summer, 9:30AM, 11:30AM, 1:45PM and sometimes 3:30PM. Trip times vary in the spring and fall season.

This trip is especially designed for families and groups with preteen kids. Our guides are always on the river with you. Ride the river in one of our new sporty but stable family rafts. This trip usually has the best weather of the day. Family oriented guides. Guide in boat option is available for and additional fee.

Duck the Tuck - Guide-Assisted Inflatable Kayak Trips
A fun and forgiving adventure. Warmer water, fun, but forgiving rapids, experienced guides. A variety of inflatable kayaks to choose from.
The warm and forgiving Tuckaseigee River is a great place for an inflatable kayak trip. It's definitely whitewater, but definitely not big whitewater. We've been rafting it 20 years.
One person inflatable kayaks work for athletic and agressive nine year olds and up. Older kids don't have to be as agressive or athletic. Anyone steering there own boat needs to want to do it.
Two person inflatable kayaks work great for a parent and child, couples, two teenagers.
Rafts are also available.
The Tuckaseigee River is 25 minutes from our Nantahala Outpost.
